We are excited to officially announce that the Las Primeras Gala 2025 will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the historic Old Eucalyptus Schoolhouse in El Centro!. Hosted by MANA de Imperial Valley, this beloved annual event brings our community together to honor exceptional local women and raise funds for scholarships that support local Imperial Valley students pursuing higher education.
This Year’s Theme: “Words of Wisdom: A Celebration of Vibrant Sayings”
This year, we are embracing the beauty and brilliance of Hispanic culture through the sayings that have guided generations' expressions full of warmth, humor, love, and resilience. These “Words of Wisdom” are more than just phrases; they are cultural treasures passed down through families and communities. Join us as we celebrate these timeless sayings and the powerful women who embody their spirit.
Why This Gala Matters
The Las Primeras Gala is MANA’s only annual fundraising event, and it plays a crucial role in supporting our scholarship program. In 2024, thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and supporters, we raised $35,000 towards scholarships. These funds were awarded directly to local students to help make their dreams of higher education a reality. This year, we’re setting our sights even higher, and we need your help to get there!
