Who Can Apply?

We invite anybody, interested in the issues and topics we focus our efforts on, to join. Members must be able to dedicate enough time to participate and make a difference in the organization. Anyone can join, you do not have to be Hispanic or a woman to join. Everyone is welcome! To join, simply complete an application and follow the steps below. Please visit our Membership Levels and Benefits page for more details.

How do I Pay for My Membership Dues? 

MANA de Imperial Valley accepts payment in the following forms: 
  1. Enclose membership dues with Membership Application and mail to P.O. Box 2945 El Centro, CA 92244 attention: MANA Membership Director
  2. Pay Pal, use Pay Pal link above to pay with credit/debit card. 
Please remember to fill out and email Membership Application before submitting dues. 

What does "MANA" stand for?

MANA used to stand for the Mexican American National Association, named when it was originally founded in 1974 by Mexican-American women. In January 1994, members voted to become MANA, A National Latina Organization, to reflect the growing diversity of its membership. Today, MANA is the largest national pan-Latina membership organization.

What does MANA do?  

MANA empowers Latinas through leadership development, community service, and advocacy.

Who are MANA's members?

MANA members are homemakers, college students, government employees, and professionals in accounting, education, law enforcement, politics, philanthropy, social work, science, health, engineering, the media, law, artists, entertainers, and elected and appointed officials.

I am honored to be one of the recipients of the IV MANA Scholarship. I'd like to take this time to thank you for your generous support. My desire is to go far and d0 great things with my education and you will be one of the contributing factors that allows me the ability to do so. 

As of August 27, 2018, I will officially begin my new academic journey at California State University, San Marcos, hoping to major in psychology and later on become a well-known sports Psychologist.
